Philco Food Processing, Inc., an affiliate of the Thai World Group, has begun construction of its Coconut Milk Processing Plant Complex within the Phividec Industrial Estate in Mohon, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. Situated on a 3.96-hectare site, the facility is designed to produce 78,000 tons of ultra-high temperature (UHT) coconut milk annually for export markets. Job recruitment is already underway even as construction progresses. Once fully operational—targeted between December 2025 and January 2026—the plant is expected to generate around 1,000 direct jobs and 1,500 indirect employment opportunities.
