Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), located in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, recently welcomed its oldest enrollee in school history—71-year-old Romeo Aguirre. On June 16, 2025, Aguirre officially enrolled in the Bachelor of Secondary Education program, majoring in English, under NBSC’s Institute of Teacher Education. Aguirre is a retired military officer who held the rank of 2nd Lieutenant under the 52nd Engineering Brigade which is based in Manolo Fortich. He retired from active service in 2006.
