PROJECT WATCH: Philco Food Processing secures PEZA registration; Coconut Milk Processing Plant at Phividec now taking shape as of September 2025

Philco Food Processing, Inc., an affiliate of Thai World Group, is now officially registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA). Its Coconut Milk Processing Plant Complex is currently under construction at the Phividec Industrial Estate in Mohon, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. Spanning 3.96 hectares, the facility is designed to produce 78,000 tons of ultra-high temperature (UHT) coconut milk annually for export. Around 1,000 workers are expected to be employed once full operations begin in late 2025 or early 2026.

Here’s an aerial view showing the ongoing construction progress of the Phividec plant.

The official signing of the Registration Agreement between PhilCo and PEZA took place last May 2025.
