Manolo Fortich Power Corporation (MFPC), an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of A Brown Company, Inc. through ABC Energy Inc., (ABCEI) has been granted a Certificate of Authority by the Department of Energy (DOE) for its proposed 202.38-hectare Manolo Fortich Solar Power Project in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. The certificate authorizes the company to exclusively undertake pre-development activities, including securing the necessary permits and clearances, conducting site assessments, reconnaissance, and feasibility studies needed to advance the project.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, MFPC said it received on June 26, 2026, the DOE’s Certificate of Authority (COA) No. SCOA2026-06-202 for the Manolo Fortich Solar Power Project. Effective June 25, 2026, the certificate is valid for one year, during which MFPC will undertake the necessary pre-development activities to advance the project toward securing a formal Solar Energy Operating Contract with the DOE.
