High-flying guard Apl Mcandrei “Andy” Gemao has committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions men’s basketball, becoming US NCAA Division I-bound after receiving his first Division I offer. The 6-foot-1 pride of Iligan City previously starred for Colegio de San Juan de Letran, where he led the Squires to a dominant championship run and earned Finals MVP honors. Gemao also suited up for Royal Crown Prep in Toronto, Canada, and represented the Philippines in the U19 national team.
