The ₱100-million Opol Boardwalk Upgrading Project is finally set to begin next year. This was confirmed by Opol Mayor Jay Bago during last night’s Christmas lights switch-on ceremony. Funded by the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), the redevelopment will transform the seaside attraction into a modern coastal park complete with parking spaces, an event center, and fountain features.
