A floating Christmas tree adds to the charm, creating a picturesque view against the calm waters. This year’s dazzling display carries added sentiment—it’s the final Christmas illumination at the boardwalk as a new landmark is set to rise on the site next year, making this last light-up a memorable moment for the community.
Next year, the Opol Boardwalk Upgrading Project will take place with ₱100 million funding from the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA).
