At sunrise, the full extent of the landslide that occurred Saturday night, October 18, along the Bukidnon-Davao Road (BUDA Highway) near Overview Park in Palacapao, Quezon, Bukidnon, was finally revealed. Government engineers now face the challenge of planning repairs in the area’s difficult terrain, which serves as the only major access route between Bukidnon and Davao. The road remains closed to all traffic, with motorists advised to take alternate routes—either through Valencia City toward Tagum City or via Maramag toward Kidapawan City then Digos City.
