Travelers and commuters between Davao City and Bukidnon are advised to take alternate routes after a major portion of the BUDA Road collapsed near Overview Park in Palacapao, Quezon, Bukidnon, on Saturday night, October 18. The affected section has been declared impassable, while authorities are already onsite investigating the incident. Alternate routes are CDO-Tagum-Davao via Valencia City to Kapalong-Talaingod-Valencia Road and CDO-Cotabato-Davao via Camp 1 Maramag to Carmen-Kabacan-Matalam-Kidapawan-Cotabato-Digos-Davao route.
