Here is the latest alignment of the Cagayan de Oro Diversion Road (Balubal-Indahag Section) which traverses the mountainous areas of the city’s eastern barangays. The ongoing road project includes four (4) bridges and has a total length of approximately 39 kilometers, with 31.25 kilometers to be concreted. Its Right-of-Way (ROW) is 30 meters including the width of each lane which is 3.35 meters and the road shoulders having 2 meters each.
Here’s the road alignment (from Request for Public Scoping Report by DPWH via Environmental Mgt Bureau website).

The road project traverses six barangays of Cagayan de Oro namely: Puerto, Balubal, Tablon, FS Catanico, Cugman and Indahag; and Barangay Alae in Manolo Fortich, where the road project starts at Junction Sayre Highway.

While the road project is in Cagayan de Oro, it will indirectly affect the nearby municipalities of Manolo Fortich, Libona and Baungon, Bukidnon.
