The Phividec Industrial Authority has announced the signing of the Amendment and Supplement to the Contract for the Management and Operation of the Mindanao Container Terminal (MCT), marking a significant step for its Phase 2 Expansion. The signing ceremony, held December 19, at the Bureau of Customs Sub-Port Building in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, signals plans to extend the terminal’s berthing length from 300 meters to 600 meters. This expansion aims to address the increasing container volume, as MCT has been operating at maximum capacity since 2020.
