Construction is now underway on a new section of the Balubal-Indahag Mountain Diversion Road Project at Indahag Proper. Project 24K00109 includes the construction of approximately 1.363 kilometers of road, with a net length of 1.05 kilometers remaining after 313 meters were previously concreted through earlier funding. This new road will start at the open space (idle lot) about northeast of Indahag Proper and end just before the junction towards Amaya View.

Here’s an aerial shot of the new road opening (left) approximately 100 meters. When this is completed, this will now be the new road in going to Amaya View. Visitors to the hilltop destination have been using the old road (right).

Meanwhile, work on the section going to Cugman area is still ongoing. This will connect to the road mentioned earlier in this post. As shown, the zigzag road descending from Indahag towards Mintugsok area is still being developed.
