The Terms of Reference (TOR) for the Feasibility Study of Phase 1 of the proposed Cagayan de Oro Elevated Railway System are now being finalized, according to Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime Bautista after a follow-up from Cong. Rufus Rodriguez. The study will cover the development of a Light Rail or Elevated Railway from Brgy. Bugo to Brgy. Iponan, and from Paseo Rotunda to Macalaban Port, passing through A. Velez St., Julio Pacana St., Puntod, then Macabalan. It will also determine the number of stations and assess the safety and reliability of the future railway system.
