Can you finish a large bowl of ramen in under 2 minutes? Two diners have done just that, setting new records at the Raki-Yata Ramen Challenge held at SM CDO Downtown and Ayala Malls Centrio. Jessie James Pepito set a new record at SM CDO Downtown, finishing in just one minute and 30 seconds, while John Robson Militante completed his bowl in one minute and 41 seconds at Ayala Malls Centrio. Both have now qualified for the Grand Finals of the Ramen Charenji on October 19, where top challengers will compete to finish the biggest ramen bowl and win the ₱25,000 cash prize. The event is part of Raki-Yata’s 5th anniversary celebration!

Below are the new ramen challenge records of Raki-Yata Ramen’s three branches in Cagayan de Oro.

SM CDO DOWNTOWN
Jessie James Pepito – 1 minutes and 30 seconds

AYALA MALLS CENTRIO
John Robson Militante – 1 minute and 41 seconds

SM CITY CDO UPTOWN
Ronald John Gadot – 2 minutes and 31 seconds
