The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is calling for requests for expression of interest for the Consulting Services for the Metro Cagayan de Oro Public Transport Pre-Investment Study. Said services has an approved budget for contract P61,232,946 based on the FY 2024 General Appropriations Act. Interested bidders have until 10:00am of June 24, 2024 to submit eligibility documents.

Below are the tracks and stations proposed for the Cagayan de Oro Light Rail Transit (LRT) System as outlined in the city’s Transport Master Plan. The initial phase consists of a loop track in the central business district of the downtown area, while the subsequent phase expands the track to Bulua in the west and Gusa in the east. It’s important to note that these plans remain subject to potential changes pending the feasibility study by the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
