A woman died after falling from the motorcycle she was riding with her husband and being run over by a truck along the National Highway in Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City, yesterday morning, June 6, 2024. CCTV footage showed the victim falling when the motorcycle lost its balance just as the truck passed by. She was rushed to the nearest hospital but succumbed to severe head injuries. The incident occurred in front of the Puerto Police Station.

Meanwhile, the truck driver was detained at the police station following the incident. However, the owner of the truck is open to any settlement with the family of the victim.
