As the heat index remain high in Cagayan de Oro, cold-blooded animals like snakes emerge from their burrows in search of cooler place to hide. And more often, they end up in areas where they can find both refuge and food, often infiltrating houses. Today, the City’s Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team responded to a 911 call from a concerned resident in Barangay Macasandig, capturing another snake, a highly venomous cobra to be specific, along Biasong-Tinib Road at around 10:21 in the morning.
