A concerned citizen spotted a large snake in Barangay Canitoan, Cagayan de Oro City and immediately notified the CDRRMD – Oro Rescue 911 at around 9:04am Sunday, February 4. A team from the city’s Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) was then dispatched and captured the snake and turned it over to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) – Region X. Oro Rescue advises everyone to immediately call 911 if they encounter a snake or any wildlife animal. Just leave it alone and let highly trained personnel to do the job.
