A team of the Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) unit of Cagayan de Oro’s City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD) – Oro Rescue 911 successfully captured a large reticulated python found lurking inside a house at La Buena Vida Subdivision, Gran Europa in Lumbia at around 9:57 pm, Thursday, April 11, prompted by a concerned resident’s call to 911. CDRRMD urges the public to promptly dial 911 upon encountering snakes or other wildlife, allowing trained personnel to manage the situation safely and efficiently.
