A graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education at Bukidnon State University and a holder of Master of Arts in Educational Administration from PHINMA-Cagayan de Oro College, Ginna was an elementary public school teacher for 16 years at Division of El Salvador City. She is now a J1 Teacher at Summit Valley School, Summit Valley School District 202 in Addy, Washington, USA.
