The 73-kilometer Misamis Oriental West Diversion Road (MOWDIR) is now 60 percent opened and 30 percent concreted. This was revealed by Misamis Oriental 2nd District Congressman Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano during his recent Congressional Report as he vowed to push for more budget allocation for the project next year. When completed, this road will serve as an alternative route connecting Cagayan de Oro to Lugait town, cutting through the west hinterlands of the province.
