Construction of the Operation Kahusay ug Kalinaw (OKK) building or the Resilience Center at Magsaysay Park has started. This is part of Phase 1 of Project Lunhaw which will redevelop Cagayan de Oro’s Divisoria area into a ‘walkable and bikable’ heritage park, while retaining its historical value.

As disclosed during the groundbreaking ceremony last week, the resilience center will house offices of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO), City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA). It will be completed in June this year.
