The Cagayan de Oro City Council has approved a resolution authorizing City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to negotiate with financial and banking institutions for the financing of the acquisition, construction, and completion of the proposed Cagayan de Oro City Government Complex in Barangay Carmen. The 22.9-hectare complex, located across from CDO Eco Park, is projected to cost around ₱8.5 billion, based on a feasibility study conducted by a technical working group.
