The perspective of the proposed new Cagayan de Oro City Government Complex has been unveiled. The new City Hall will rise at the intersection of SM Bypass Road and Zayas–Canitoan Road in Uptown Cagayan de Oro. The 22.9-hectare development will feature an 8-storey executive building, a 4-storey legislative building, a car park and commercial area, and a sports facility. Designed with green building features, the complex aims to ease congestion at the current City Hall, which has served the local population for 85 years.
