Here’s a conceptual design of the viaduct section of the Cagayan de Oro Coastal Road Project (Puerto-Gusa Section) in the Tablon area, where several private ports are located. With existing port facilities occupying much of the available shoreline and limited land for road construction, a viaduct is considered the most viable structure for this portion of the project. During his recent site visit, DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon said the agency is seeking foreign funding to fast-track the completion of the nearly 9-kilometer coastal road project.
