Governor Henry S. Oaminal led local executives and tourism officials in the formal groundbreaking ceremony of the Sto. Niño Shrine, set to rise in Barangay Rizal, Lopez Jaena, Misamis Occidental. The flagship tourism project aims to boost faith tourism in the province and will feature a large image of the Sto. Niño, a scenic view deck, a peaceful pilgrimage trail, and a convertible public parking area. The project is expected to attract pilgrims and visitors while supporting local businesses, creating tourism opportunities, and strengthening community pride across Misamis Occidental.
