The final span of the Macabalan–Bonbon Bridge in Cagayan de Oro City is set to be completed with an additional ₱130 million in funding provided by DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon, according to Congressman Rufus B. Rodriguez. However, another ₱120 million is still needed to fully complete the project, including the access roads. The 1,188.80-meter, two-lane bridge is expected to provide an alternative route, improve connectivity, and help ease traffic congestion in the city and nearby communities.
