Construction of the second pedestrian overpass along Masterson Avenue in Uptown Cagayan de Oro is now progressing, with column works for the main supports already visible on both ends of the structure. Originally planned near Corpus Christi School Pueblo Campus, the project has been relocated to the vicinity of Fr. Masterson Elementary School near the DepEd Division of Cagayan de Oro office. This marks the second overpass in the area to be transferred from its original site, following the relocation of the overpass initially proposed near Stonestown to the vicinity of the DSWD-10 office. Once completed, the overpass will provide a safer and more convenient crossing for pedestrians, particularly students, along the busy Masterson Avenue corridor.
