Construction is now underway for Haycarb Philippines Corporation’s activated carbon manufacturing plant inside the Phividec Industrial Estate in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. The project is considered one of Sri Lanka’s largest investments in the Philippines and is expected to strengthen Haycarb’s manufacturing capabilities while promoting sustainable activated carbon solutions.

Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath recently visited the project site, accompanied by Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Philippines Dr. Chanaka Talpahewa and officials from the PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority, the Board of Investments Philippines, and the Municipality of Tagoloan. The visit highlighted the growing economic and industrial partnership between Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
