Around 500 business leaders, executives, and international trade partners are in Cagayan de Oro for the 35th Mindanao Business Conference (MinBizCon), where they are discussing the region’s investment climate and exploring new business opportunities. Potential foreign investors are also attending to identify investment prospects and partnerships in key industries, including agriculture and food manufacturing. Organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the conference marks a homecoming for the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation Inc. (Oro Chamber), which hosted the inaugural MinBizCon in 1992.
