Cagayan de Oro-based fitness athletes Fate Alejandria and Desiree Adrienne Lim Yu of Pagadian City secured second place in the 30–34 Age Category of Women’s Doubles at the 2026 HYROX competition held July 24-26, 2026 in New Delhi, India, earning their first international podium finish after eight months of intensive training. HYROX is a global fitness race that combines running and functional exercises such as sled pushes, rowing, burpee jumps, and wall balls. Their achievement followed previous HYROX events in Singapore, Taipei, and Beijing, highlighting their dedication and growing presence in the international fitness scene.
The duo placed second in the Women’s 30–34 Age Category and finished 14th overall among all women’s doubles teams.
HYROX combines both running & functional workout stations, where participants run 1 km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times.
