Bringing back the glory of the Pelaez Sports Complex is one of Misamis Oriental Governor Juliette T. Uy’s flagship projects. During her Governor’s Report, she announced plans to rehabilitate and modernize the complex by building a multi-purpose building with commercial spaces, an indoor sports facility, a dormitory, and function halls. The project also includes upgrading the main grandstand and oval track, constructing facilities for swimming, pickleball, and tennis, and establishing a Regional Archery Training Center. The redevelopment aims to transform the complex into a modern sports hub for athletes and major sporting events.
