Construction of the stormwater detention pond at Xavier University’s Masterson Campus continues to make steady progress as the university advances the development of its new academic complex in Uptown Cagayan de Oro. Designed to temporarily store excess rainwater during heavy downpours, the facility will help reduce flooding, manage stormwater runoff, and strengthen the campus’ climate resilience. The project forms part of Xavier Ateneo’s long-term infrastructure plan to support the continued growth of the Masterson Campus while promoting a safer, more sustainable learning environment.
