RANDOM SHOTS: Endangered Philippine tarsier rescued in Cagayan de Oro, turned over to DENR

A Philippine tarsier was turned over to DENR Region X in Cagayan de Oro City after being found in a residence in Barangay Macabalan. The animal was in good condition and was accepted for proper care and assessment for eventual release back to its natural habitat. DENR personnel thanked the resident for responsibly reporting the wildlife and reminded the public that all protected species, including the tarsier, must be handled only by authorities under the Wildlife Conservation and Protection Act.
