In February this year, the City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, in coordination with the Cave Management Committee and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-10), conducted a joint inspection of Sta. Cruz Cave in Barangay Mambuaya to assess its overall condition, including structural integrity, environmental health, and visitor safety measures, with findings expected to guide future conservation strategies, policy directions, and the development of sustainable tourism initiatives.
