The City Government of Cagayan de Oro deployed several vehicles under its Libreng Sakay initiative in Barangay Canitoan on Monday, April 6, to assist commuters affected by the temporary suspension of PONTRANSCO’s operations due to rising fuel costs. City Mayor Klarex Uy’s own personal bus was also among those deployed after the cooperative announced last week its temporary halt citing financial strain from increasing fuel prices.
