Local officials in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon reiterated that drag racing is strictly prohibited under the town’s traffic code and reminded parents and motorists to exercise caution to prevent similar tragedies. This comes following the death of a 16-year-old teenager from Barangay Lunocan, who was declared dead on arrival at a hospital after a motorcycle accident on January 17, 2026. Authorities said the victim was allegedly involved in drag racing, which resulted in a single-motorcycle crash.
