The Department of Agriculture (DA) and the Bukidnon provincial government will invest ₱1.97 billion to build the Bukidnon Food Hub (BFH) in Manolo Fortich. The 41-hectare facility to be located in Diclum will serve as a major center for consolidating, processing, and distributing Bukidnon’s key products—such as coffee, cacao, fruits, vegetables, and bamboo—while the Corn Central will offer storage and post-harvest facilities to improve corn handling and trading. With proximity to both Laguindingan Airport and the Port of Cagayan de Oro, the hub will give farmers better access to local and export markets, lower their costs, and reduce post-harvest losses.
Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel Jr. along with Bukidnon Governor Rogelio Neil P. Roque, Vice Governor Clive D. Quiño, Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño, led the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Bukidnon Food Hub Project which is envisioned to play a major role in supporting food security in Northern Mindanao and nationwide.

The DA also committed ₱500 million to convert a former tobacco facility in Misamis Oriental into a food-processing and innovation hub, which will feature corn silos, coconut embryo culture, cold storage, value-adding centers, and a potato-processing line.
