The Province of Bukidnon has retained its position as the country’s top agricultural economy. According to figures released by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the province recorded a Gross Value Added (GVA) in agriculture amounting to ₱129.03 billion in 2024, accounting for 7.3% of the national total. This follows its 2023 performance, where Bukidnon also ranked No. 1 with ₱128.44 billion. With its consistent agricultural strength, it’s no surprise that the government has chosen the province as the site for a major food hub development.
