In case you’re wondering, Rural Transit has set up a temporary terminal near Overview Park in Palacapao, Quezon, Bukidnon, where several buses can be seen parked along the roadside in a video shared by netizen Mark Yaba. Since the landslide incident, commuters have been disembarking there and walking down a temporary detour trail to reach the other side just before the collapsed Buda Road section, where they board buses bound for Cagayan de Oro and vice versa. The company has also applied with the LTFRB for a temporary bus route via Valencia–Talaingod–Kapalong Road leading to Tagum City and Davao City as an alternative while a detour road is developed.
