Rural Transit Mindanao Inc. (RTMI) has announced new direct trips between Cagayan de Oro City and Davao City via Valencia City, San Fernando, Talaingod, Sto. Tomas, DAPECOL, Carmen, and Panabo City, and vice versa. Note that this new route bypasses Tagum City and takes an alternate path through Sto. Tomas. Meanwhile, the CDO–Davao route via Overview remains operational under a “dawat-dawat” system, where passengers transfer between buses on either side of the damaged section of the Bukidnon–Davao Road.
