Rescue dog ‘Miyuki’ from MDRRMO Opol helps locate missing couple in Bukidnon landslide

Miyuki, a rescue dog from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Opol, Misamis Oriental, helped locate the missing couple by alerting rescuers to their position at the landslide site in Sitio Kipolot, Barangay Palacapao, Quezon, Bukidnon. The victims, found embracing each other beneath approximately 10 meters of soil, were recovered five days after the landslide. Miyuki was accompanied by his K9 handler, Dionisio Montemayor Jr., during the successful search operation.
