Search and rescue operations continue for the missing couple believed to have been buried in a landslide at Overview, Sitio Kipolot, Brgy. Palacapao, Quezon, Bukidnon. Authorities have now deployed K9 units and scanners to help locate the victims as teams from PDRRMO, various municipal DRRMOs, the police, military, and fire service work together on site. For safety reasons, operations were temporarily suspended around 3:30 PM after authorities observed ground movement of about two meters in the landslide area.
Around 400 responders and security personnel are part of the coordinated effort, as safety measures remain in place due to ongoing ground movement in the affected area.
