The economy of Northern Mindanao has achieved a major milestone, reaching ₱1.04 trillion—making it only the sixth region in the Philippines to surpass the trillion-peso mark, according to the latest data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). The region’s sustained growth underscores its strong performance across key sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, trade, and services, driven by rising investor confidence and expanding infrastructure development. This accomplishment further cements Northern Mindanao’s status as one of the country’s fastest-growing regional economies and a strategic hub for trade and investment.
