RANDOM SHOTS: Philippine Serpent Eagle rescued in Barangay Tablon, turned over to CLENRO

A Philippine Serpent Eagle was rescued in Purok 9A, Baloy, Barangay Tablon near Ayala Land Project and formally turned over to the City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO) on Saturday, September 27, 2025, during the Klarex Serbisyo sa Baryo (KSB) in Barangay Agusan. The rescue was facilitated by Barangay Animal Welfare Coordinator and Biosecurity Officer Jaymar L. Pasco, together with Janny Recaña, and before the turnover, the raptor was checked by the City Veterinary Office to ensure it had no injuries or illness. The eagle, a significant species in the country’s biodiversity, will now be under the care of proper authorities for monitoring and possible release back into the wild.
