The Ozamiz City Airport will soon have a new modern two-level Passenger Terminal Building. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has officially started the bidding process for Phase 1 of the Ozamiz Airport Passenger Terminal Building project, which carries an approved contract budget of ₱222 million. Once completed, the new terminal is expected to significantly improve passenger handling capacity, enhance travel convenience, and support the growing air transport needs of Misamis Occidental and neighboring provinces.
Below is a perspective of the project.

Below are screenshots of the bidding documents including some layouts of the proposed passenger terminal building.

Based on the floor plan, the new passenger terminal building will have three sections: the check-in area (right), the pre-departure area (middle, 2nd level), and the arrival area and baggage re-claim area (left). Other amenities include a VIP Lounge, Prayer Room, Breastfeeding Room, and commercial spaces.
