The Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) welcomed a new leader on September 12, 2025, as PCol Gerardo D. Ulanday, former Chief of the Regional Intelligence Division, assumed post as Acting City Director. A member of PNPA Class “Tagapaglunsad” in 1993 with extensive experience in operations and intelligence, PCol Ulanday is expected to strengthen anti-crime, anti-drug, and community policing programs in the city. He succeeded PCol Salvador N. Radam, who led COCPO for over two years and is now reassigned as Chief of the Regional Intelligence Division at PRO-10. Regional Director PBGEN Rolindo M. Suguilon expressed confidence in Ulanday’s leadership to sustain peace and order in Cagayan de Oro.
