RANDOM SHOTS: Rare sighting of wild, untagged Philippine Eagle pair in Bukidnon

For the first time in nearly two decades, a wild and untagged pair of Philippine Eagles has been spotted in Bukidnon—and bird lovers couldn’t be more excited! According to the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF), the rare encounter happened within the BUHITA (Bukidnon Higaonon Tribal Association) Ancestral Domain. The majestic pair was seen performing “mutual-soaring,” a stunning courtship dance where lifelong partners glide side by side in perfect harmony—a sign that a new nesting season may be in the horizon.
