The Radisson Hotel Group, one of the world’s leading international hotel chains, is set to break ground on the highly anticipated Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences in Uptown Cagayan de Oro, as announced by City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy during the August 4 flag-raising ceremony at City Hall. The groundbreaking for the 30-storey high-rise development is expected to take place in late August or early September 2025. Once completed, it will become the city’s first five-star hotel and branded residential project, marking a significant milestone in Cagayan de Oro’s growth as a premier destination in Northern Mindanao.

Set to rise within the Pueblo de Oro Business Park, the hotel is designed to meet the growing demand for large-scale events and corporate functions in Northern Mindanao. It is also envisioned to become a premier destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) in the region.
