The construction of the Gusa Flyover Project in Cagayan de Oro City is being proposed for funding under the French Official Development Assistance (ODA). The 590-meter Gusa Flyover Project, along with six other bridge and viaduct projects nationwide, is part of the Accelerated Bridge Construction Project—one of the government’s Infrastructure Flagship Projects (IFPs) to be implemented by the Unified Project Management Office (UPMO) of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). According to DPWH Senior Undersecretary Emil Sadain, the project is scheduled to begin this year or as soon as funding is secured.

The feasilibility study for Gusa Flyover has already been completed last year and approved by the Investment Coordination Committee (ICC).

The ₱3.963-billion, four-lane flyover is designed to bypass the intersection of Amethyst Street and Galaxy Road in Gusa. Below is an AI-generated image of the flyover project at the site.
